Southside
Gin's answer to the Moijto, the Southside is a simple treat of a cocktail highlighting flavours of Gin, Mint and Lime. Using Republic of Fremantle's Aromatic Gin to offer elevated freshness with its light blossom characteristics playfully bouncing off the mint and lime.
Ingredients
- 45ml Republic of Fremantle Aromatic Gin
- 25ml Lime juice
- 15ml Simple Syrup
- 5 Big Mint Leaves
- 2 drops of Saline (or a small pinch of salt)
Method
- Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker.
- Shake ingredients until icy cold, (excess shaking will result in a watered down drink, under shaking will result in a strong and unbalanced drink.)
- Strain into an icy cold stemmed coupe
- Garnish with a single mint leaf
