But don't be fooled by its glamorous appearance - the cosmopolitan is also a carefully crafted drink that requires quality ingredients and attention to detail.

Alessandro's recipe features the addition of grape must, taking your home Cosmo to the next level. We recommending crushing or blending red grapes to make your own grape must from scratch. 

Here's how to make the Republic twist at home:

INGREDIENTS

• 40ml Republic of Fremantle Signature Vodka
• 20ml Marionette Curacao
• 30ml grape must (red grapes to make)
• 15ml fresh lime juice

FIRST MAKE YOUR GRAPE MUST

Using red grapes, crush or use a blender at home to prep your grape must.

NEXT, SHAKE & STRAIN YOUR COSMO

• Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker 
• Shake with good ice and double strain into a chilled coupette glass
• Garnish with orange peel (optional)
